m atelier was founded by Mario  Barrientos and Marta Martín in 2005 after meeting at the ETSAM. The practice has developed works for educational buildings, residential projects and working in sensitive historic environments.

 

Atelier's methodology combines research design and academic activities through which rethink the design principals based in the user and the social interactions.
